For the vase:

Ball or mason jar
Chalk paint
Twine or ribbon

For the centerpiece:

Completed vase
Silk flowers or bouquet
Bunch of wheat

Instructions

For the vase

Use the paint brush to paint the Ball or Mason jar with the chalk paint. Let dry several hours or overnight.
Add a second coat of chalk paint to the jar. Let dry completely.
Using the sandpaper, rough the paint on the raised parts of the jar.
Tie the ribbon or twine around the mouth of the jar.

For the centerpiece

Disassemble the bouquet of silk flowers using the wire cutters or pliers.
Place the silk flower stems into the vase.
Fill in with the stems of wheat. Arrange to make centerpiece.
