Ingredients
15jalapeños peppers (medium size)
18 ozpackage Pepper Jack Cheese or Monterey Jack Cheese
½cupreal bacon bits
¼cupfine bread crumbs
Instructions
For the bacon & cheese stuffed garden jalapeños
Wearing disposable gloves, cut each pepper in half lengthwise and remove seeds leaving on stem.
Cut cheese into strips and place in each pepper half.
Sprinkle on bacon and bread crumbs.
Grill peppers, covered, over medium-hot heat for 4 - 6 minutes or until peppers are tender and cheese is melted. Peppers may be baked in a preheated 350°F oven 10 - 15 minutes, depending on size of peppers.
Serve warm.
