Ingredients
1/2cupmayonnaise
8ouncescream cheese, softened
1cupshredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2cupshredded Monterey jack cheese
2green onions, finely chopped
1dashcayenne pepper
8butter crackers, crushed
8slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1bagBagel chips, for serving(7-ounce)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 9-inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey jack cheese, green onions, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
Transfer mixture to the prepared pie plate. Top with the cracker crumbs and bake until heated through, about 15 minutes.
Remove pan from oven and top with bacon. Serve immediately with bagel chips for dipping.
Notes
1. Using freshly shredded cheese in this recipe has better results than pre-shredded cheese.2. Butter crackers or corn chips are also great for dipping.
