Classic Sugar Cookies

- Stand mixer or handheld mixer
- Cookie sheets
- Wire cooling rack
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup oleo (margarine)
- 1 cup salad oil (vegetable oil)
- 2 large eggs
- 4 1/4 cups W-R All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- Sugar
Instructions
Baking the Sugar Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Mix all ingredients together using a stand or handheld mixer. The dough will be soft.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with glass, dipped in sugar.
- Bake 12 - 13 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool.
