1loaf (12-16 oz)unsliced French bread, halved ¾ of the way through lengthwise

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, beef broth, parmesan cheese, eggs, onion powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add in the beef and pork and mix gently, but thoroughly.

In a deep skillet or Dutch oven, heat the spaghetti sauce over medium heat. Add meatballs; simmer for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, place halved French bread on a foil lined shallow baking pan. Butter the inside of the bread loaf. Bake bread at 425°F for 8 minutes or until lightly browned heated through.
Once bread is heated; remove from oven. Place half of the cheese inside the bread canal; spoon meatballs and sauce onto cheese. Top with remaining cheese. Place back in the oven for 3 minutes to melt the cheese.
Slice sandwich into serving-size portions; serve with extra spaghetti sauce, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil if desired.
