6largefully-cooked sausage patties
6eggs
12frozenpre-packaged pancakes
¼cupmaple syrup
6slicesCheddar cheese
Additional maple syrup for dipping, optional
Instructions
To make the sandwiches
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 13x9-inch pan with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
Warm the sausage patties according to the package instructions (skillet or microwave is fine).
Cook the six eggs in a skillet OR microwave one at a time in a greased round dish until cooked; set aside.
Place six of the pancakes onto the prepared pan and brush with half of the maple syrup.
On each of the six maple syrup-glazed pancakes, add a sausage patty, an egg and a slice of cheese.
Brush the remaining six pancakes with the rest of the syrup and place syrup side down to top the sandwiches.
Cover the pan with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
