8ouncescavatappi pasta
1poundlean ground beef
1medium onion, diced
1green bell pepper, diced
1red bell pepper, diced
6ouncescream cheese, softened
1cup beef broth
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
8ounces(about 8 slices) provolone cheese
Instructions
Cook pasta to al dente; drain and set aside.
In large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat for about 5 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
Add onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened, about 7 minutes.
Stir in cream cheese, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Stir and simmer for about 2 minutes, until cheese is incorporated.
Gently stir in cooked pasta.
Layer cheese slices over the top. Cover and heat for about 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Stir cheese into pasta casserole and serve.
