A perfectly sweet ending to any meal, this strawberry dessert panini layers marshmallow crème, chocolate-hazelnut spread, sliced fresh strawberries, and toasted almonds between two slices of sourdough bread, then toasted to perfection.

Ingredients
2tablespoonssliced almonds
2slicessourdough bread
2tablespoonschocolate-hazelnut spread
2tablespoonsmarshmallow crème
4medium strawberries, sliced
2tablespoonssalted butter, softened
1teaspoon powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat panini maker.
Toast the almonds in a small skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Spread one slice of the sourdough bread with a thick layer of chocolate-hazelnut spread. Spread the other slice with the marshmallow crème.
Layer the toasted almonds over the chocolate-hazelnut spread and layer the strawberries over the marshmallow crème. Place one over the other to close the sandwich.
Butter the top side of the sandwich and put it on the hot panini maker butter-side down. Butter the other side of the sandwich and close the lid.
Press and cook the sandwich until toasted and warmed through, about 1-2 minutes.
Remove from panini maker and dust with powdered sugar. Cut in half and serve!
Notes
No panini maker? No problem! Grill the sandwich in a skillet, laying another heavy skillet on top of the sandwich to press it together. Or try a bacon press if you have one of those.
