Spray a 13x9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in strawberries. Cool in freezer while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
For the crust
In 13x9-inch baking dish, mix the crushed pretzels, sugar and melted butter. Press evenly into the bottom of the dish. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on cooling rack.
For the filling
In a second medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Gently fold in cool whip.
Put it all together
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over partially cooled crust, making sure to reach the edges completely to prevent the strawberry gelatin mixture from seeping to the bottom.
Next pour partially cooled strawberry gelatin topping over cream cheese filling.
Refrigerate and enjoy!
Refrigerate 4-6 hours, or until firm. Cut into 12 pieces and serve chilled.
