- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup salt
- up to ¼ cup hot water
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Yarn

In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup hot water and ½ cup salt together.

Add ½ cup flour and mix with your hands. The result should be a ball of soft dough.

Roll dough into bead size of choice and poke holes with ends of paintbrushes, chopsticks or straws.

Heat oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and space out beads on the baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes, checking periodically (baking time will depend on size). Beads are cooked completely when hardened, but not brown.

Let cool. Hand paint and string onto yarn to make jewelry of choice.
