Creamy Crockpot Tortellini

This creamy and cheesy tortellini is covered in a flavorful red cream sauce loaded with ground beef. It is so easy - throw the ingredients in the crockpot and forget about it!

Equipment

  • 5-6 quart slow cooker
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen cheese tortellini (36 ounces)
  • 1 jar alfredo sauce (15-16 ounces)
  • 1 jar traditional pasta sauce (24 ounces)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound lean ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • Optional toppings: Mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Line slow cooker with disposable liner or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Add tortellini, alfredo sauce, pasta sauce, cream cheese, ground beef, minced garlic, and minced onion to slow cooker. Gently stir to combine.
  • Cook on high for 2-2.5 hours or on low for 4-4.5 hours.
  • Stir and serve with optional toppings, if desired.

Notes

  1. You can try any flavor of your favorite frozen tortellini in this recipe.
  2. Ground turkey or ground sausage can also be used as the protein in this recipe.
