Sweet-and-Salty Snack Mix
Perfect for your child’s Halloween party at school, a munchie Monday at work, or your next tailgate party, this sweet-and-salty snack mix is a new and tasty variation you’re sure to love.

Equipment
- Large, rimmed baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Medium mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 3 cups corn cereal squares
- 2 cups bite-sized pretzels
- 2 cups rice cereal squares
- 1 cup crisp wheat cereal squares
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces
- Optional: Waffle cones, for a fun serving option!
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 oF. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Gently combine corn cereal, pretzels, cheese crackers, rice cereal, and wheat cereal on baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, honey and salt until smooth.
- Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture. Gently stir to thoroughly coat. Spread mixture into an even layer on pan.
- Bake in preheated oven until mixture is golden brown and toasted, about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to break apart. Stir in marshmallows and Reese’s Pieces.
- For fun, fill waffle cones with the snack mix to serve, if desired. Store in an airtight container.

Helpful hints:
To avoid issues with food allergies, you can substitute M&Ms in place of the Reese’s Pieces.
