Beer Cheese Sauce

- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 cup beer (light or dark)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
For the Beer Cheese Sauce
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly add the half and half, whisking constantly until it comes to a boil.
Whisk in the beer, garlic powder and onion powder. Cook on low, stirring frequently until bubbly.
Remove from the heat and stir in the cheeses until melted.
