5largeeggs
1can(8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
8sausage links, cooked
4slicesAmerican cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Assembling the Breakfast Roll Ups
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, beat eggs. Reserve 2 tablespoons beaten egg for brushing on tops of crescent rolls. Scramble remaining eggs in medium nonstick skillet.
Unroll dough onto work surface and separate into 8 triangles.
Cut cheese slices in half and place one half on each triangle. Top each with a spoonful of scrambled eggs and one sausage link. Loosely roll up triangles as directed on can. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Brush reserved egg on top of each crescent. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
