  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup water
For each house:
  • 3 graham crackers
  • Hot glue gun or "icing glue" to hold the houses together
Decorative items:
  • Assorted candies, cereals, pretzels, crackers, cookies, frosting, sprinkles
Instructions
MAKE YOUR ICING GLUE
  • In a glass bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add egg whites and mix, adding water a little at a time until you reach a very thick consistency. Put icing in a zippered plastic bag and cut off the corner. This will allow you to squeeze out a line of icing for assembly and decorating.

Assembling the Houses

Cut one graham cracker square in half. Discard one half and cut the remaining piece into a triangle.

  • Using the icing glue (or a hot glue gun), assemble the three walls of the house using three of the squares of graham crackers.
