This time-tested, family recipe is the perfect one to convert to crispy, crunchy goodness. You can find a great way to fry the tortilla chips here, or you can always bake them if you’d prefer a little healthier option. We recommend baking at 350° for 10 minutes.

Traditional tortilla chips are fried rather than baked and are typically not whole grain. Using whole grain tortillas and baking these chips makes this a no-guilt sweet snack or treat!

Did you know: The man credited with the creation of tortilla chips is Jose Martinez, of San Antonio, Texas. Martinez was the creator of mass-produced masa, the traditional base for tortillas, and realized that he had tons of leftover mesa, so the entrepreneur decided to cut it up and toast the pieces into chips.
Reuben Nachos
With bagel chips in place of traditional tortilla chips, these nachos are a fun new way to use leftover corned beef! Top with sauerkraut, shredded Swiss cheese and a bit of horseradish to include your favorite flavors of a Reuben sandwich.
