Ingredients
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 3 tablespoons nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 thick slices of soft bakery bread
- ½ ounce semisweet chocolate chips
- 8 fresh raspberries, cut in half
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350 °F for 5 minutes
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, yogurt and honey
- Using the back of a spoon, create a well in the center of each bread slice without cutting through.
- Spoon the custard mixture into the indented well. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Cook in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes, until the custard is set and starts to brown. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of the bread and the custard.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup and fresh raspberries on top.
Notes
The raspberries can be added before or after cooking, based on personal preference.
