Ingredient List
For the Baked Hawaiian Pizza Subs:
  • 6 Hawaiian hoagie rolls
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 sliced mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 30 small slices Canadian bacon
  • 3 thin slices fresh pineapple, cut into quarters
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
Instructions
Making the Baked Hawaiian Pizza Subs
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Arrange hoagie roll tops and bottoms on baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and toast in oven for 4-5 minutes. (This helps prevent the pizza sauce from making the rolls soggy.)

  • Layer 6 slices cheese, pizza sauce, Canadian bacon slices, pineapple, and chopped bacon on bottom of each hoagie roll. Top with remaining 6 slices cheese and hoagie roll tops. Secure with a toothpick.

  • Bake 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  • Serve hot.
