Buffalo Chicken Boat
This Buffalo Chicken Boat is loaded with chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce and cheddar cheese! Drizzled with ranch dressing and sprinkled with green onions, it’s great as a meal or a crowd-pleasing appetizer!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups diced or shredded cooked chicken
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 loaf French bread
- Additional buffalo sauce, ranch dressing and green onions for garnish, if desired
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce and one cup of the cheddar cheese; set aside.
- Use a small, serrated knife to cut out the top and part of the inside of the bread loaf. Remove it and save for another use.
- Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture into the bread “boat.”
- Sprinkle with remaining shredded cheddar cheese and cover with foil.
- Bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is all melted and the chicken is hot.
- Drizzle with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing then sprinkle with green onions, if desired.
- Cut into slices and serve warm.
Notes
Use the extra bread to make croutons or breadcrumbs!
