Cheeseburger Macaroni Soup

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 5 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1.5 cups dry macaroni noodles
- 1.5 cups Velveeta cheese
Instructions
To make the soup
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef until completely cooked.
- Add the diced onion, carrots and butter and cook for 3 minutes or until the onions are translucent.
- Sprinkle the flour over the beef and vegetables and stir well.
- Slowly pour in the beef broth and then add the black pepper; stir well and bring to a boil.
- Add the macaroni noodles and bring the mixture back to a boil. Boil for 6-8 minutes, or until the macaroni are tender.
- Turn the burner to low and stir in the cheese until completely melted.
