For the Copycat Wendy’s Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers:
  • 2 pound lean ground beef
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 12 strips cooked bacon
  • 6 iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 6 tomato slices
Instructions
Making the Copycat Wendy’s Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger
  • Preheat grill, griddle, or large skillet over medium heat.

  • Form ground beef into 6 square patties, approximately 4×4-inches.

  • Grill the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the center reaches 155°F – 160°F on a food thermometer. Salt and pepper each side during cooking.

  • Brown the faces of the buns on the grill. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on each top bun.

  • Place the cooked patty on the bottom bun. Stack the cheese, bacon, lettuce leaf, and tomato slice, in that order.
