Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips, divided
Instructions
Making the Mini Chocolate Chip Microwave Cake
- In 2 cup glass bowl, melt together butter and vanilla.
- Add both sugars and mix well.
- Add milk and mix well.
- Add flour and baking powder; stir to combine, ensuring there are no flour chunks remaining.
- Gently stir in 1 tablespoon chocolate chips. The sprinkle remaining 1 tablespoon over the top.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute. Cool for about 30 seconds and then check that a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Serve warm, topped with ice cream or cool whip and a few extra chocolate chips, if desired.
