- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350oF. Spray 13×9” pan with nonstick cooking spray.
-
Using an electric mixer, cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars.
-
Add egg, flour, baking soda, salt and quick oats and mix well.
-
Gently stir in chocolate chips with mixing spoon, rather than electric mixer.
-
Spread in a greased 13×9” pan.
-
Bake for 18-20 minutes; cut into 18 bars while warm. Consider cutting these in longer, skinny bars because they are very similar to packaged granola bars.
