Swiss Roll Trifle
This Swiss Roll Trifle is the perfect large dessert for a crowd with layers of chocolate pudding, fluffy marshmallow topping and tons of sliced Swiss rolls! Try this at your next summer cookout!

Ingredients
- 2 3.9 oz packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 4 cups cold milk
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1 7-ounce jar marshmallow crème
- 2 8 oz tubs whipped topping, divided
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 13.3-ounce packages Swiss rolls (total of 24 Swiss rolls; 12 packages of 2 each)
Instructions
To make the trifle
- In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix packets with the cold milk; set aside.
- In another large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and marshmallow crème. Fold in all but 1 ½ cups of the whipped topping (reserve for later) and the vanilla.
- Slice each of the Swiss rolls into 4 slices.
- Assemble the trifle in this order: ½ of the chocolate pudding, ½ of the marshmallow filling, ½ of the Swiss roll slices, the rest of the chocolate pudding, the rest of the marshmallow filling, most of the remaining Swiss roll slices (save a few for garnish), the remaining whipped topping and then the rest of the Swiss roll slices for garnish.
