Bacon Cheese Stuffed Jalapeños are spicy peppers filled with cheesy bacon goodness. A simple, flavorful snack or appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 15 jalapeños peppers (medium size)
  • 1 8 oz package Pepper Jack Cheese or Monterey Jack Cheese
  • ½ cup real bacon bits
  • ¼ cup fine bread crumbs

Instructions

For the bacon & cheese stuffed garden jalapeños

  • Wearing disposable gloves, cut each pepper in half lengthwise and remove seeds leaving on stem.
  • Cut cheese into strips and place in each pepper half.
  • Sprinkle on bacon and bread crumbs.
  • Grill peppers, covered, over medium-hot heat for 4 - 6 minutes or until peppers are tender and cheese is melted. Peppers may be baked in a preheated 350°F oven 10 - 15 minutes, depending on size of peppers.
  • Serve warm.
