Barbecue Pinwheels

Ingredients
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- ½ pound lean ground beef
- 1 red pepper, diced
- ¼ cup diced onion
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
- ¾ cup shredded cheese
- cilantro, chopped for garnish (optional)
Instructions
For the Pinwheels
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- Brown ground beef with diced onion and red pepper. Drain excess grease.
- Add barbecue sauce to browned ground beef and stir to combine. Set aside to cool.
- Spray non-stick baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Open refrigerated pizza crust and unroll onto baking sheet. Using fingers, spread dough into larger rectangle into approximately a 15 x 8-inch rectangle.
- Spread ground beef mixture over crust, leaving a ½ -1 inch border around the dough. Sprinkle shredded cheese and cilantro over the ground beef mixture.
- Roll up pizza dough, starting at one of the long sides. Make sure meat mixture stays inside as you roll.
- Using a pizza cutter, cut roll into 10 equal sections. Place sections with cut side down on baking sheet.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
