- 1 pound beef round steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 packages (3 ounces each) beef ramen noodles, broken into pieces
- 2 ½ cups water
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 3 cups frozen broccoli stir-fry vegetable blend
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion
- ¼ cup thick-style teriyaki sauce
-
In a medium bowl, toss sliced beef with cornstarch and 1 ramen noodle flavoring packet.
-
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef. Cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Remove beef from pan and set aside.
-
In same skillet, combine noodles, water, soy sauce, vegetables, ginger, and remaining flavoring packet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until noodles and vegetables are tender, 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
Return beef to pan. Stir in green onion and teriyaki sauce. Cook another 4-5 minutes to heat through and allow sauce to thicken slightly.
-
Serve immediately.
