- 8 ounces spaghetti noodles
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 cup low-fat Cottage cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (24 ounce) jar pasta sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 11×7-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Cook spaghetti in medium pot according to package directions for al dente. Drain and return to pot, remove from heat.

Add butter and salt; stir until butter is melted.

Add remaining pasta ingredients and toss to combine.

Transfer pasta/cheese mixture into bottom of prepared dish.

Brown ground beef with garlic and onion in medium skillet. Drain grease and return to pan.

Add pepper, pasta sauce, sugar and Italian seasoning. Stir well and spread evenly over pasta/cheese mixture.

Sprinkle remaining 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, until top cheese is browned and spaghetti is bubbly.
