Equipment
- 8-inch round pan OR square pan
Ingredients
- 12 frozen dinner rolls
- 4 ounces of Mozzarella cheese (half of an 8 ounce block)
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Parsley, optional
Instructions
To make the pull apart bread:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch round pan OR square pan.*
- Let the dinner rolls set out in a greased pan for about an hour.
- Cut the cheese block into 24 cubes; set aside.
- Melt the butter and mix in the garlic powder and parsley, if using; set aside.
- Cut each dinner roll in half and wrap each piece of dough around a cube of cheese.
- Dunk the cheese-filled dough ball into the seasoned butter and place in prepared pan.
- Repeat with the remaining pieces.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top of the bread is golden brown. *Note: a square pan will only take 16-18 minutes to bake.
- Enjoy warm.
