Baking Temp 425 F

Equipment

  • Large, rimmed sheet pan
  • Aluminum foil
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Baking Sheet

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces thick-cut bacon
  • 1 heart romaine chopped
  • 2 small tomatoes chopped
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  • Line a large, rimmed sheet pan with aluminum foil. Arrange the bacon slices on the foil-covered pan and place in a cold oven. Turn the oven on to 425oF and cook for 15-18 minutes, or to your liking.
  • While bacon is cooking, combine chopped lettuce, chopped tomato, and mayonnaise in a large bowl. Toss to coat.
  • Once the bacon is cooked, remove to a plate lined with paper towels to drain the grease. Coarsely chop the bacon and add to the mixing bowl. Toss again to coat.
  • Turn oven up to broil (450-500°F). Arrange the hoagie rolls, cut side up, on baking sheet. Toast under broiler for 1-3 minutes, watching them closely to avoid overbrowning.
  • Evenly divide BLT mixture among the toasted rolls and enjoy immediately.
