- 4 (12-inch) flour tortillas
- 6 slices Provolone cheese (about 7.5 ounces)
- 12 ounces thin sliced deli roast beef
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 can (10.5 oz) beef consommé
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
Preheat oven to 425 °F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
-
Lay the 4 tortillas on a counter or workspace. Tear the Provolone into smaller pieces and distribute evenly over each of the tortillas. Distribute the roast beef evenly over the cheese. Then sprinkle ¼ cup French friend onions over the beef on each tortilla.
-
Working with one tortilla at a time, fold the sides of the tortillas in, then tightly roll the tortilla into a roll. Brush a little of the olive oil on the edge to help seal it. Then place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
-
Brush the remining olive oil over the tops of the rollups.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the rollups are browned.
-
While baking, combine the remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook until warmed through.
-
To serve, cut the rollups in half and serve with the warm au jus for dipping.
