Hot Wonton Cups

Equipment

  • 2 standard muffin pans
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • Medium skillet

Ingredients

  • 40 wonton wrappers
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Garnish: thinly sliced green onions and ranch dressing

Instructions

Making the Hot Wonton Cups

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 20 muffin cups with nonstick spray.
  • Layer 2 wonton wrappers into each cup, offsetting them as opposed to stacking them. Lightly spray with nonstick spray. Bake 6-8 minutes, until just beginning to brown.
  • Meanwhile in a medium skillet, warm chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo wing sauce and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Use a tablespoon or small cookie scoop to scoop chicken mixture into each prepared wonton cup. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake another 6-8 minutes, until warmed through and golden brown.
  • Serve with drizzled ranch dressing and sliced green onions, if desired.
