Ingredient List
For the Lemon Shortcake Dessert Cups:
  • 2 boxes (3.4 ounces) instant lemon pudding mix
  • 4 cups 2% milk, for pudding
  • 1 package (12 ounces) bakery lemon sliced cake, cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 1 can (13 ounces) extra creamy whipped topping
Instructions
Assembling the Lemon Shortcake Dessert Cups
  • Combine pudding mix and milk in a medium mixing bowl.

  • Line up 24 (3-ounce) dessert cups. Distribute 1/3 of the cake cubes into the bottom of the dessert cups.

  • Next add a thin layer of lemon pudding. Repeat layers of cake and pudding. Put the remaining cake cubes on the top.

  • Complete each dessert cup with a large dollop of canned whipped topping.
