Easy Whole Wheat Peach Crumble
Summer’s fresh peaches create a delicious filling, complemented by a golden whole wheat topping. Serve this Easy Whole Wheat Peach Crumble with ice cream for a perfect summer treat.

- 11” x 7” x 2” baking dish
- 2 large bowls
Ingredients
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon or nutmeg
- 5 cups peeled, sliced, fresh peaches ( 5 – 6 large)
Instructions
Prepare baking dish
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray with nonstick spray a 11” x 7” x 2” baking dish.
For the filling
- In large bowl, whisk sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Add peaches; stir to coat.
- Pour peaches and juices into baking dish.
For the Topping
- In large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Cut in the margarine or butter until mixture resemble fine crumbs.
- Stir in the egg and mix until combined and crumbly.
- Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over peaches.
- Bake 35 - 40 minutes, or until peaches are bubbling and topping is golden-brown.
- Serve warm or cold, with ice cream, if desired.
