- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons pickle relish
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 pounds ground beef
- Eight 8-inch flour tortillas
- 8 slices American cheese
- OPTIONAL: Topping such as shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickle sliced, chopped onion

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, pickle relish, ketchup, sugar, onion powder and garlic powder; cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Heat a griddle to medium high heat.

Divide the meat into 8 equal sized mounds and place them onto the griddle.

Place a tortilla onto each of the piles of ground beef.

Using a heavy pan, press down on the tortilla until the meat squeezes to the edges of the tortilla.

Let cook for 3-5 minutes.

Flip the burger and let cook until the burger is cooked through.

Place a slice of American cheese on each and serve with toppings and the refrigerated sauce.
