Ingredient List
For the Tacos:
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • Eight 8-inch flour tortillas
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • OPTIONAL: Topping such as shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickle sliced, chopped onion
Instructions
Assembling the Tacos
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, pickle relish, ketchup, sugar, onion powder and garlic powder; cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

  • Heat a griddle to medium high heat. 

  • Divide the meat into 8 equal sized mounds and place them onto the griddle.

  • Place a tortilla onto each of the piles of ground beef.

  • Using a heavy pan, press down on the tortilla until the meat squeezes to the edges of the tortilla.

  • Let cook for 3-5 minutes.

  • Flip the burger and let cook until the burger is cooked through.

  • Place a slice of American cheese on each and serve with toppings and the refrigerated sauce.
