Equipment

  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 wheat flour tortilla
  • 1/2 banana sliced
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese spread
  • 1 tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup sliced strawberries

Instructions

  • Place the tortilla on a cutting board. Cut a slit from one edge to the middle. Create a single triangle by folding the tortilla in half from side to side, then in half again from bottom to top, making a single triangle. Unfold.
  • Add the sliced bananas to the first quarter.
  • Spread the second quarter with the cream cheese and sprinkle the sliced almonds on top of the cream cheese.
  • Add the sliced strawberries to the third quarter.
  • Finally spread the peanut butter on the last quarter with and top with blueberries.
  • Fold the banana quarter over the cream cheese and almonds, then fold this over the strawberries quarter, then fold over on to the peanut butter quarter, making a single triangle.
  • If desired, toast, peanut butter side down, in a non-stick frying pan over a medium high heat for about a minute. Flip wrap over and toast for another minute.
  • Cut into two pieces and serve.

Notes

  • Use a whole wheat tortilla for added nutrition.
  • Try different fillings! Use your favorite fruit, nut spread, and nuts.
  • You could make it a sweet snack by adding chocolate chips, hazelnut spread, or marshmallow fluff. The toppings are endless.
