Ingredient List
For the pizza rolls:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium-sized bell pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 oz. marinara sauce
  • 4 cans (10 count) biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
Instructions
For the pizza rolls
  • Fully cook and drain fat off 1 pound of ground beef.

  • Finely dice the bell pepper and onion.

  • In a mixing bowl combine hamburger, pepper, onion, cheese and 1 cup of marinara sauce. Set aside.

  • Open the cans of biscuit dough. Take a biscuit and flatten it with your hands (or a rolling pin) until it has doubled in size (approximate the size of your palm).

  • Place 1 tablespoon of the ground beef mixture in the middle of the biscuit dough. Pull the edges up over the hamburger and pinch together.

  • Place the biscuit pinched-side down on a greased cookie sheet. Repeat for each remaining biscuit.

  • Melt the butter in a microwave safe dish. Brush over the top of each roll. Sprinkle the rolls with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.

  • Bake at 400°F for 11-14 minutes. Serve with remaining marinara sauce for dipping.

  • These supreme pizza rolls are quick and easy, use refrigerated biscuit dough and will be the hit of your tailgate party. Make the filling ahead for easy assembly on game day.
