- 12 slices Texas Toast style bread
- 12 eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
-
Use football-themed cookie cutters to remove the middle portions of each slice of bread and set aside.
BONUS: The middle, set-aside portions of bread make great French Toast.
-
Carefully spread butter or margarine on the each side of the newly cut bread slices.
-
Place the bread slice on a preheated griddle.
-
Crack 1 egg into the middle, cut-out portion.
-
When the egg is halfway cooked through (you can’t see the griddle through the egg white), flip the entire bread slice over and cook an additional 1-2 minutes. Serve warm.
