- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 onion, diced (approx. 1/3 cup)
- 3 teaspoons parsley
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 3 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1 (24 ounce) carton cottage cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large skillet, brown and drain ground beef and onions.

Add parsley, oregano and tomato sauce; simmer 3-4 minutes.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain.

Lightly spray a 13″ x 9″ casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Layer with half of each ingredient, starting with the spaghetti, then meat sauce, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese.

Repeat layers. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. Cover with aluminum foil.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Can be frozen and baked later. If frozen, allow 1 ½ hours to heat.
