- 1 (13-ounce) can evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
- 3 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 ½ cups ketchup
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅔ cup packed brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients for the meatloaf. (Hint: mixing with your hands usually works best)

Shape beef mixture into 12 small loaves, about 6 ounces each. Place them on the rimmed baking sheet.

In a small bowl, mix all ingredients for the BBQ sauce. Mix well to ensure brown sugar is completely incorporated.

Generously spoon mixture over meatloaves.

Bake for 30 minutes, or internal temperature of each loaf is 160°F on a food thermometer.

Helpful hints:
- This recipe freezes great! Freeze meatloaf and BBQ sauce in separate containers, then thaw and bake according to recipe instructions.
- For the onion lover, use fresh chopped onion in place of dried minced onion to get a stronger flavor.
