Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups

- Small bowl
- Medium nonstick skillet
- Large baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Pastry brush
Ingredients
- 5 large eggs
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 8 sausage links, cooked
- 4 slices American cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Assembling the Breakfast Roll Ups
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, beat eggs. Reserve 2 tablespoons beaten egg for brushing on tops of crescent rolls. Scramble remaining eggs in medium nonstick skillet.
- Unroll dough onto work surface and separate into 8 triangles.
- Cut cheese slices in half and place one half on each triangle. Top each with a spoonful of scrambled eggs and one sausage link. Loosely roll up triangles as directed on can. Place on prepared baking sheet.
- Brush reserved egg on top of each crescent. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
- Bake 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
