Football French Toast

  • Non-stick griddle
  • Spatula
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Football-themed cookie cutters

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 loaf Texas Toast style bread
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

For the French toast

  • In a mixing bowl combine milk, vanilla, eggs, sugar and cinnamon.
  • Use football-themed cookie cutters to remove the middle portions of each slice of bread. BONUS: The remaining unused bread edges work great for Eggs in a Basket.
  • Dip the shaped bread cut-outs in the egg mixture.
  • Place on a non-stick griddle and cook for 1 minute on each side. Serve warm.
