Pizza Quesadillas
These simple, kid-friendly pizza quesadillas are the perfect combination of pizza sauce, pepperoni, olives, and Mozzarella cheese, folded inside flour tortilla.

- Large skillet
- Nonstick cooking spray
Ingredients
- 8 10-inch flour tortillas
- 1 14-ounce jar pizza sauce
- 1 6-ounce package pepperoni slices
- 1 2.25-ounce can sliced black olives
- 1 8-ounce bag shredded Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
For the Pizza Quesadillas
- Heat large skillet over medium heat.
- Spray one side of a flour tortilla with nonstick spray; place in hot skillet spray-side down.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon pizza sauce in thin layer over entire tortilla.
- Arrange about 10 pepperoni slices on one half of tortilla. Sprinkle a few black olive slices over pepperoni.
- Sprinkle about 1 ounce of shredded mozzarella over entire tortilla.
- When cheese just begins to melt, fold tortilla in half over the pepperoni & olives.
- Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes, or until bottom is golden brown. Gently flip quesadilla over and cook an addional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove to a plate or cutting board. Allow to cool about 3 minutes before cutting into 4 triangles.
- Repeat steps with remaining 7 tortillas. Serve quesadilla triangles with remaining pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
You can omit the black olives, according to your personal preferences.
